Born 2015 and 2016 (2026 Season)
U12 is a competitive division with officiated games, which tracks scores, wins, and losses. Players continue to learn the fundamental skills of football, and begin utilizing more recognizable plays and skills (such as more passing). One coach from each team is permitted to be on the field during play to provide instruction between plays and help players set up their plays. Referees will enforce infractions as per the Canadian Amateur Rule Book for Tackle Football, but with an emphasis on teaching and correcting player behaviour rather than penalizing infractions when appropriate.
The U12 division plays 6-a-side football, with a reduced field size, and modified down and distance rules. No player may score more than 2 offensive touchdowns in one game (passing touchdowns excluded).
